The Lab is where students build real things together. Not write-ups of other people's work, but deployed tools that help someone, and honest research that stands behind every claim it makes. We work in the open, and we only ship what we can defend.

Flagship project · in build A guide through Canadian healthcare The care is free. The hard part is navigation: where to go, what you're entitled to, what to ask. We're building a tool that walks an underserved person through it in plain language, in the language they speak.

What we publish, and where
  • Real question first. The work starts from a question worth answering, never from a target number of papers.
  • A mentor signs off. Nothing is Lab-published until someone who knows the area has read it and agrees it holds up.
  • Real venues only. Genuinely good work goes to real preprint servers and workshops, because the work earns it. One paper you can defend beats five you can't.
  • You stand behind it. If a researcher or a reporter emails the author, the author can answer for every claim.
